Prayer Request - Wingards
Yesterday, Kelly's hometown, Booneville, AR, suffered a great loss. The Cargill factory there caught on fire. The factory is a total loss for the town. Not only was there a fire, but one of the amomnia tanks blew up sending a cloud of gas across several miles. Her younger sister, Erin, lives only a 100 yards from this plant. She, thank goodness, was on her way to North Carolina to be with Kris who is finally having his back surgery, or else it could have been very bad as she would not have been able to leave her house. She will be gone for two weeks and is concerned about her house and pets. No one is allowed over there yet, but Kelly's parents will be the ones to have to call Erin and give her the news as to whether or not she will be allowed to come back to her house. Kelly's uncle, who is a firefighter, told her parents that it is a very real possibility that Erin's house and a few more in the area may be condemned due to the gas. Not that Erin is materialistic, but all of her and Kris's belongings, including memories and keepsakes are in that house. Please pray for her and Kris and that their house is okay. Pray for all of the families in Booneville who are now without work. Kelly had many friends and family members who have lost their jobs. This was the last large employer in Booneville. The town is in shock.
