Supplier Sale - Baby Products

I have heard that a Supplier will be having a sale on Fri., Feb. 1st from 8-9 AM. They are located at Westpark Business Complex, Ste 16 (right behind Newell Rubbermaid) at the corner of Hwy 102 and "I" St. They will have cribs, strollers, toys, etc. CASH ONLY PLEASE!

I just wanted to send out a couple of reminders:

Super Bowl Party:
The food signup is on a previous post, so please check this out to see what you are supposed to bring. Also, please remember that it is $2/person (kids 2 and under are free). We have the Centerton Community Center from 3-10 PM, so come whenever you want too.

Valentines Day:
We are going to have a banquet on Feb. 14th from 6-7:30 in the Fellowship Hall. There will be a guest speaker and singer. It will be $14 a couple for the food, and $5/kid for childcare. We are getting our meal from the Bentonville Butcher and Deli. We will have Poppy Seed Chicken, Twice Baked Potato Casserole, Green Beans, Salad and a Roll. We will also have Cheesecake for dessert, so you can see that we are having a great meal.

I need a head count of those who are coming, and those who will be bringing their children so that I can secure food and workers. Also, the childcare must be paid of head of time to me. We hope that everyone plans on attending, this is going to be a great time of fellowship with your spouse and our class.

Prayer Requests - 1.27.08

Hands: Jaxon is going to stay with Derek's parents for part of the week. Pray that everything goes well.

Browns: Pray for direction for next year for their family - concerning care for Lydia.

Tylers: Brian's grandma is going for tests to find out if the cancer is back or not. Also, Carey has a project install at work, pray that it goes well.

Klamms: They are hopefully closing on their house on Wed.

Clarks: Jonathan's mother is still waiting on her tests results.

Gayduseks: Please remember Shelly and Warren as they get closer and closer to the due date.

Murphys: Jennifer's friend in Dallas has a daughter, Kars, that has been running a fever for 2 mths, and they can't figure out what the problem is. Please remember this family, and pray that they determine the cause of the fever soon.

Prayer Request

Jennifer Ring knows of a girl who is contemplating abortion at 10 weeks pregnant--Her name is Jessica, 19 yrs old, single. Father of baby wants her to get abortion and is going to pay for it. She is scared, has no way to support the child and is not ready to be a mother. Jennifer's friends Mike & Kelly are in their 40's and can't have children and would love to adopt this baby. Jessica knows about this and is considering letting them pay for her prenantal care and adopt the baby. Jessica has 1 more week before the abortion cannot be performed. Pray that she will not go through with it and will let Mike & Kelly adopt and give the baby the life it deserves.

Baby Tidwell Revealed

Jason and Laura are going to have a.........BOY!!!!!! Yah! She said everything looked good in the ultrasound, and their boy was moving all over the place. Congrats to the Tidwells!

Bible Studies - Mon Night & Tues Morning

David and Jennifer Murphy are going to be starting a bible study (one for guys and one for ladies) on Monday nights, starting Feb 18th. If you are interested in the 6 week study on 2 Thessalonians, you can contact David or Jennifer or call the church. (Childcare is provided for those who register)

There is also another Bible Study offered on Tues mornings, starting Feb 5th. This class is taught by Karen Heilman, and will be on the book of Hebrews. Please call the church office or email Karen at dkheilman@cox.net and childcare is provided for this class as well.

Valentines Day Dinner - 2.14.08

Please mark your calendars for a great night of fellowship on Feb. 14th. We will have a dinner in the fellowship hall at the church. We are working on childcare right now, as well as, the menu. We also have some guests speakers from Eagle Family Ministries, Steve Tucker and another associate Kim will lead us in a great time. We are thinking that it will be $10/family for the meal, and $5/kid for childcare, but will have more information on this as it gets closer.

Prayer Requests - 1.20.08

Tylers: Please keep Brian's grandma in your prayers as she waits to find out the test results. Also, Carey went back to work and Briley is doing really good at daycare and Catelyn loves to help them with her.

Wingards: Their friend, Angie Roy, lost her grandmother a week ago, so please remember her family. Also, continue to remember Kelly's family as they continue to deal with her grandmas death.

Rings: Jennifer's aunt died, and Jennifer's dad and her had not talked in about 5 years. Please pray that he will have peace about how their relationship ended.

Jones: Please remember Vicki Thomas - she is having pains in her left arm.

Please remember Kaye Clark as she is having test in St. Louis, possible ALS.

Gayduseks: Shelly's older brother's apartment burned down Friday night. He and some other people lost everything, but the clothes they had on. These families will need strength during this time.

Langfords: Please remember the whole family as, Kalel and Craig both have the throwing up stuff. Craig is feeling better, but now is running a fever. Pray for both of them to get over this without Edan and I getting it. Also pray for me as I care for both of them and Edan and that I would perservere. Edan will go to the ENT on Feb. 4th to see about tubes. Hopefully we will not have to go back to see the doctor about his ears before then.

Prayer Requests - 1.13.08

Wingards: Tim and Kelly are on their way to Ft. Smith right now to see Kelly's grandma, who is on her death bed. They are hoping to get there before they take her off of life support. Please pray for Kelly's family as they go through this tough time.

Please remember the Bush family, Linda starts chemo on Monday.

Jones: Pray that Vicki Petree's surgery goes well and that there will be a quick recovery.

Murphys: Please keep Abby in your prayers, she has a fever that has not broken in a few days.

Hands: Praise! Jaxon's surgery went well, and he is already feeling much better.

Tylers: Pray for Carey as she goes back to work this week.

Rings: Continue to pray for their business as they try to recover from losing their largest client. Also, pray for guidance as they seek legal action.

Tidwells: Please pray for Laura as she is searching for a new job (almost any field besides teaching will do). Please pray for something that she can start in August.

Wingards: Tim's co-worker hd a stroke and is lost. Pray for a moment that time can witness to him. Also, Kelly's brother-in-law, Kris, is home until Jan 20th, and then he heads to NC for his major back surgery.

Bennetts: Praise! Lindsey has been coming to school everyday. Pray that she stays in remission.

Rushing Arrival

David and Courtney Rushing had their baby boy, John Riley, on Jan 5. Please join me in congratulating them.

Linda Bush Information

Since Linda Bush is such an impact for our class, we thought it might be nice to send her something from our kids. It can be anything you want it to be, but something that she can look at and be encouraged. So, I am starting a sign up of days where she will receive something each day from each of us. Please let me know what day you would like to take. You can drop it off at the church, she doesn't work all the time, but she stops by periodically. I know everyone's schedules are hectic, but this can be very encouraging for her. Here is what I have so far:

We have reserved the Centerton Community Center (on Main St) for our annual Super Bowl Party. We have the room from 3-10 PM. It will be $2/person, 2 yrs and under are free. We will have more information about food, etc as the time gets closer.

Please continue to pray for Linda Bush, as she has appts and starts chemo this week. She is in stage 4 cancer, and really needs our thoughts and prayers.

Robertsons: Beth is not feeling well.

Jones: Pray for Pat and Amanda Donahue

Hands: Jaxon is having tubes put in his ears on Thurs morning. Pray that these will work, and stop all the ear infections.

Middletons: Praise! Melissa got baptized in the 2nd service yesterday. Also, please remember Kerry's job as it transitions with new co-workers. Also, pray for Kerry's parents house as it comes to completion.

Tylers: Brian's grandma is done with chemo an dis going to have more tests to see if it is totally gone. Also, Brian applied for a new job. Lastly, Carey's little sister is due in the middle of Feb., please be thinking of her.

Wingards: Kelly's brother-in-law, Kris, is back stateside awaiting more tests prior to major back surgery.

Linda Bush Update & Prayer Request

Linda Bush has received her test results and has been diagnosed with breast cancer. (She was totally shocked). She will have several more tests early next week, then will begin chemo, probably next week. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Prayer Requests - 12.30.07

Hands: Jaxon has an appt with the ENT on Thursday, Jan 3rd. Pray that they will do tubes. If so, he’ll have surgery within a week or so.

Readers: Salvation for our families. Kendra’s Uncle Mickey is dying of COPD. Pray for God’s strength for he and his wife, Thelma.

Streckers: Salvation of ext family members. Currently witnessing to a family of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Looking for a new employee at the clinic.

Tidwells: Laura wants a new (different) job after this school year is over. (to begin in August.) Linda Bush and family.

Gayduseks: Shelly needs sleep. Pay for Shelly’s parents.

Jones: Salvation of Valarie’s family and our friends. Pray for Vicki Petree. She has been in a lot of pain. Her gall bladder will be removed this week.
