Anna Ring and Moses Chastain Updates

I wanted to let everyone know that Anna came out of her surgery today doing well. She has to stay overnight, but other than that everything is well.

I also wanted to let you all know that Lori and Moses need our prayers. Lori still has high blood pressure and Moses is in the NICU with pneumonia. I don't know a lot of the details, but just please keep them in your prayers.

Moses Chastain has arrived

I wanted to let everyone know that Aaron and Lori Chastain have a new addition to their family. Moses was born today around 3:30 PM weighing 7lbs 4ozs and 19" long. Please keep them in your prayers as they adjust to their new little one.

Room Change next Sunday

Next Sunday we will be combining with several other classes to hear Roth Gourley's mother talk about her recent trip to Africa. We will be meeting in Chad Evans classroom, and be postponing our Crown study for this coming week.

Prayer Requests - 8.23.09

Hands - Pray for Emily as she starts her new job this week (Tuesday). Pray for them as they are starting their own business and trying to get everything closed.

Rings - Praise! Jennifer starts her new job from home on Sept 1st. Pray for Anna's surgery on Tuesday at Mercy, she will be staying overnight.

Cannadays - Pray for Overflow as it kicks off next Sunday the 30th.

Flynts - Praise! Bailey got a good initial report from her follow up ultrasound and reflux test on her kidney. We will go see her doctor on Sept. 1st, and hope that we will not have to do anymore surgeries.

Prayer Requests - 8.16.09

Gayduseks - Pray for them as they are moving this coming weekend.

Wingards - Pray LWCS finds a drama teacher. Also, Kelly is having a huge problem with migraines and so far nothing works.

Hands - Wisdom in current business/financial decisions

Friddles - Pray for them and the Klamms as dance classes begin this week, and kids begin a new school year.

Bennetts - Desiree and Adam are traveling to Kansas to care for her sister who broke her knee cap.

All - Pray for all the pregnant families, for healthy babies and mommas. Also, pray for all those who start school this week. Pray for students, teachers, parents, as well as patience, safety, etc.

Flynts - Pray for Chris, he has pulled his back and not sure what is wrong.

Hands - Praise! Emily accepted a part time position with Arvest. She starts in 2 weeks. Pray that it will go ok, and that the transition with Dayspring will go smoothly.

Rings - Pray for Anna, she is sick. They also found out that she needs to have her tonsils taken out.

Gayduseks - Continue to pray for their move in the coming weeks. Also, pray that they can be a witness for Jesus to Warren's grandmother.

Klamms - Pray for Matt as he returns to teaching at LW and that things go smoothly this year for him. Pray for Tara as she prepares for her fall ballet ministry classes, and that God would bring her students who will benefit from the classes.

Roughleys - Ryan is back to school this week, pray for him while he is teaching. Also, pray for them that their move goes well.

Miles Hudson Lightner has arrived

Please keep Matt, Ashley and Miles in your prayers. Ashley went in to the hospital yesterday because her water broke (she was 4 weeks early). They ended up doing a c-section at 2:45 this morning, as Ashley was running a fever and they could not get it to come down. Miles has been in the NICU since he arrived, and therefore, they have not been able to hold him. He was born 5lbs 13ozs, and not sure about the length. Please say a quick prayer for them and their family.

Siloam Springs Water Park

Just a reminder, our class with be going to the Siloam Springs Water Park on Sat., Aug 8th. If you are interested please just show up there around 1:00 PM for some fun. Here is who I have signed up so far:

Prayer Requests - 7/26 & 8/2

8/2:

J&A Simpson - Aug 17th is when Jared will begin the FBI process again. Pray all goes well.

Gayduseks - Pray for the move that will take place the next few weeks. Pray that Warren and Shelly will be a witness to Jesus for his grandma.

Middletons - Leaving for Mexico on Wed., kids will be here with grandparents, pray for safe travels. Also, please remember Kerry's job.

7/26:

Gayduseks - God has been great!!! They are in the process of buying a larger home so that Warren's mom and grandma can live with them. Please pray God's hand to be on this process and for the transition to be smooth.

Colleys - Justus saw a speech pathologist last week and she can't help him without a swallow study. They were able to move up the study to Aug. 21. Their pediatrician also agreed to do a allergy test, so hopefully they will get some answers soon.

Hands - Praise! Home study went well. They should have their home open around mid-August. Pray for them as they approached the 1 yr anniversary of having Laden.

Rings - God continually amazes them with blessing them in their business.

Tidwells - Praise! Jonas is doing great after his surgery.
