I wanted to remind everyone that we will be doing a class tailgate for the 4th at the church. Food will start around 6:00 PM, and the rest of the festivities will start around 7:30 PM. Please let me know if you plan on attending. The cost is $10/family and I need to get a head count, so if you could let me know that would be great.

Prayer Requests - 6.29.08
Middletons - Pray for Melissa's brother as they wait for their baby from Korea. Also, remember Melissa's parents while they live with her sister.
Rings - Pray for them as they transition into two children. Pray for Anna, especially that she will adjust well.
Hands - Pray for them and the baby as they go through the remainder of the pregnancy.
Bartmiers - Pray for them as they go in on Tuesday (July 2nd) to be induced, starting at 9:00 AM.
Langfords - Praise! They are expecting a baby due beginning on January.

2 New Arrivals for our Class
I wanted to let everyone know that the Addingtons and Rings both had their babies today.
Rings: Lexi Layne was born at 1:53 PM today (Monday), weighing 7lbs 2 ozs and 18" long. Jennifer and Lexi are both doing great. She is at NW Medical Center in Room 1243. Again we are starting meals for them on this Wed., please let me know when you would like to take them some a meal.
Addingtons: Brady Dane Addington was born at 10:57 AM today (Monday), weighing 8lbs 14ozs and 21 3/4 long. Amber and Brady are both doing well. She is at Willow Creek Hospital in Room 20. We will be starting meals for them this Thursday, so please let me know when you would like to take them a meal.

FourthFest - Friday, July 4th
Again we will be joining together at the FourthFest celebration to enjoy some fellowship time together. We are planning on doing things very similar to last year. We are asking that each family put in $10 to help cover the costs of the food, drinks, etc. Please plan to bring this money to church/class on Sunday morning (June 29th) so that we can do the shopping the following week. The past few years have been very good for our class, and for us to show the community our love. Please plan to attend.

Hands Prayer Request
Please keep the Hands in your thoughts and prayers as they go through the remaining weeks of this pregnancy. They had an ultrasound in LR today, and had some hard news given to them. They have to go back in a month to do some more testing on the baby. There will be more information to come, but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that there is a BIG need of prayers for this family.

Ring Baby Update
I got a call from Jennifer yesterday (Tuesday) saying that they are going to induce her on Monday, June 23rd if she does not come before then. She is having to lay down a lot so that she does not have contractions and deliver the baby before then. They will be going in at 5:00 AM on Monday to Northwest in Bentonville. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare for Lexi's arrival. We will soon after the arrival start meals, so be prepared.

Bartmier Shower Reminder
Just a reminder that we will honor Sarah and Nick and their new baby boy on Sunday, June 22nd during Sunday School. Please come prepared to celebrate with them. We will have a time of fellowship together before the lesson for them to open the gifts.

Flynts - Please remember both of Chris's sisters, as they are both due this week. He will be leaving on Tuesday to go to Dallas to be with his youngest sister as she will be induced on Wednesday. Praise, we are expecting twins in December. Please pray for us as we start to prepare now for this major adjustment.

Jonas is Home!!!!
The Tidwells got to bring baby Jonas home yesterday (Wednesday)! He is doing much better, and all they were waiting on was him to eat at least an ounce at every feeding. June Social - Camping
We are still planning on going camping in June for our monthly social. There will be more information to come, but here is a start so that you can mark your calendars.
Date: June 20 & 21st
Where: Roaring River in MO (about 30 mins away)
We will head out there on Friday afternoon/night and cookout that night. We will have some games, and of course SMORES. Then on Sat., we can hike on trails, play in the River, and just hang out. We will head home on Sat afternoon/night so that we can be back for church on Sunday.
I will be passing around a sign up sheet next Sunday to see a head count so we know how many sites we will need. I will be able to give a estimated cost at this time as well. Hopefully everyone will plan on attending, it should be a great time.

Bartmier Baby Shower
We will be celebrating the upcoming arrival of Kaeden Dean Bartmier during the Sunday School hour on June 22nd. Since we have already thrown Sarah a shower with Ava, we have decided just to honor them during class time. Please come prepared this day to share with the Bartmiers, and celebrate Kaeden's arrival. She is due on July 4th!

Bennetts - Desiree's brother-in-law, Matt, is having surgery on his ACL Monday. Pray that he will fully recover.
Tidwells - Pray that Jonas will soon get to come home. Also, please continue to pray for Laura and her blood pressure that it stays down.
Middletons - Melissa's brother and wife as they wait to hear abou their child from Korea. Also, remember Melissa's parents house. Lastly, for finances after Kerry's accident and their baby coming.

Flynts - Misty had a spot removed on Wednesday last week, and it came back as severe dysplastic. It was not melanoma, but they are treating it as if it is. She has to go back in to have some more skin removed, and for a more indepth survey of her other moles. Please keep her in your prayers as she goes through this process the next few weeks.
