Prayer Requests - 6.13.10

Hands - Court on Tuesday, looks like the kids may be going home in the next few months.

Boyers - Keep praying - God is in contron and is bigger than their situation.

Klamms - Pray for Kylie as she heals from surgery; also pray for unspoken concerns in Tara's family.

Readers - Pray for career and financial decisions, guidance of Holy Spirit.

Class Summer of Prayer

Each Sunday School Class has been asked to pick 3 times during the summer to meet together to pray in correlation to our churchwide "Summer of Prayer." So, below is a list of dates that we will have our class designated times of prayers. I hope that each of you make a point to attend them, but if not please feel free to email me a list of prayer requests, and we will pray specifically for them at that time. Also, remember that our church is open Mon-Fri from 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM through Aug 10th. Please make a point to stop by and pray if you get a chance.

Sunday, June 13th: We will designate this coming Sunday school hour to praying (this will allow us to focus on prayer and not worry about who has our children, etc). Jeff will come with some specific things we will pray for, and then we can add some that morning. We will break into groups, pray and then meet all together to finish up. Please make every effort to be here this Sunday.

Sat., July 3rd: We will take some time at our 4th social to break up into women/men groups to pray. While one group is praying the others will entertain the kids and vice versa. Again, we will send out an email before them to collect any prayer requests ahead of time.

Sun., Aug. 8th: Again we will designate this Sunday morning as a time of prayer.

4th of July Social

4th of July Party - Sat., July 3rd @ Chris and Misty Flynt's House 4:00 - ?
*Cost $10/family
*You will need to bring your own fireworks, chairs, blankets
*Hamburgers, hot dogs, sides, desserts, and drinks will be provided
*I will start a sign up on Sunday, and if you can start bringing your money that would be great

4th of July Planning meeting...

Wanted to extend the offer to anyone who is interested in helping plan our 4th of July party, that will be held at Chris and Misty's house on Sat., July 3rd, to join us for a planning meeting Tues., June 8th. We will be meeting at 6:00 PM at Chick Fil A in Bentonville. Jeff and Dana will be treating who ever comes to dinner.

Wednesday Play Dates

I wanted to let everyone know that several of us have been getting together on Wednesdays at 9:30 AM at Dave Peel Park in Bentonville to play. If anyone is interested in joining, please do so this week. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Patience Lynea has arrived!!!

Patience Lynea has arrived weighing 8lbs 14ozs. Mom and baby are doing well. We will start meals next week as Shelly has a lot of family in right now. Below is a list of people taking meals.
