New Years Eve Party

We will be having a New Year's Eve party at the Gayduseks House (200 Hailey, Centerton) on Friday night, Dec 31st at 7:00 PM. We encourage you to find childcare, but if you have to bring your children that is fine as well. Also, plan to bring a snack/finger food for the night.

Prayer Requests - 12.20.09

Bartmiers - Sarah goes in on Thursday at 6:00 AM to have baby Hudson. Pray all goes well.

Tidwells - Laura is having major problems with students. Pray for wisdom for her to know how to handle them. Also, Jonas has a cold (cough, runny nose, etc) that is keeping him and them up.

Bennetts - Pray for them as they join the Murphy's in TX. "We love you guys very much, may God richly bless you all this Holiday season."

Friddles - Pray for Matt's job search. Also, pray for a wife of one of his co-workers who has had a breakdown.

J&A Simpson - Pray for Uriah as he goes in on Tuesday for surgery.

2010 Social Schedule (First Half)

I wanted to let everyone some of the things that we have planned for 2010 for the Foundations SS Class. Please mark your calendars and plan to be at as many as possible. There will definitely be more information as each event gets closer, but we just wanted to let people know what we had being thinking.

Jan: Super Bowl Party (we still need a place to hold this, and it will need to start after church is over)

Feb. 13th (Sat): Valentines Dinner (Youth Room)- this will be catered (will know the cost later) and we will play games. Childcare will be provided as well.

Mar. 13th (Sat.): Fastlane

Apr. 3rd (Sat): Easter Egg Hunt/Cookout at Jeff's Farm 3:00 PM - whenever?

May 23rd (Sun): Lunch at the Playground behind the Worship Center 11:30 - 1:30 PM

June 18th (Fri): Naturals Game

We have other ideas for the rest of the year, but we will just give you the first part. We are also working on a Marriage Retreat/Couples Getaway. We will get info out on that ASAP so people can start saving and we can get a head count.

New Faith Semester

I wanted to make everyone aware of when the new Faith semester starts. All on the alter Sunday will be Jan 17th, with the team leaders training on Monday, the 18th. Faith will kick off on Monday the 25th of January. Please be in prayer about this, and hopefully our class will have a good turnout.

Boyers - Their house is open for foster kids. Keep praying!!

Bennetts - Desiree's sister is having her baby on Tuesday. Mark has his last college final on Tuesday. And finally pray for the dessert theatre, the cast, choir and orchestra all need your thoughts and prayers.

Gayduseks - Pray for peace in their home with the inlaws.

Swarengins - Pray for a man named Steve Creekmore, who is a banker Joe talked to this week. His grandmother died over the Thanksgiving holiday. Steve works for Arvest and has been helpful to our church with financing. Please pray for his family.

Rings - Pray for them as they weigh some difficult decisions in their business.

Friddles - Pray for Matt, his shoulder has multiple breaks and torn ligaments. He goes to see an orthopedic Monday.

Bennetts - LWCS has Christmas Concerts this week. Pray for parents and other family members who need to hear the message of Jesus. Pray for the choir/orchestra as final preparations are being made for dessert theater.

J&A Simpson - Athena is getting her wisdom teeth out Friday the 11th, and Uriah has surgery the 22nd. Pray for Jared during this time and peace for him. Also, one of Jared's friends who is a trooper her in Centerton flipped his truck on the interstate this past weekend. He is doing fine, but has a fractured back.
