August Social - Saturday, Aug 9th

We are planning a class social at the Siloam Springs Water Park on Sat., Aug 9th. Plan on meeting there around 1:00 PM, and we can swim and then grab some dinner as a group before we head home.

Prayer Requests - 7.27.08

Rings - Pray for their nephew Grayson Miles. The swelling in his brain is from the cyst. Also, pray for their business as they are still adjusting to a few changes.

Tidwells - Pray for Jason as he continues to interview for a new job. Pray for God's will.

Gayduseks - Pray for wisdom about God's will in where they are supposed to be serving.

Hands - Continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they seek God's will in the outcome of this pregnancy. Also, pray for strength, courage, etc for Derek and Emily and peace about whatever happens.

Parenting Class

On Aug 3rd, we will be starting a 6-week study on Parenting being led by Charlie Schneider. This will be a great time for us to gain some new understanding on how to become better parents. I will have a sign up sheet on Sunday going around so that we can get a head count for Dr. Schneider. If for some reason you will not be there on Sunday, but plan on being there during the study, please send me an email. Also, I know this is a 6 week committment, and several will have nursery during this time, but he will do a recap from the previous week before he starts the new lesson.

Prayer Requests - 7.20.08

Bennetts - Continue to pray for Desiree's brother-in-law, Matt, as he is healing from his ACL surgery.

Flynts - Remember Misty this week, as she has her stitches removed on Thursday. Pray that the wound has healed well.

Prayer Requests - 7.13.08

Flynts - Misty is having the spot removed from her face this week. Please pray for quick healing and peace during the surgery.

Rings - Pray for Todd's grandmother, Bernice. She has blockage in her leg and is still having problems with blood pressure and recovering from her stroke. Also, pray for their nephew, Greyson Miles. They found swelling on his brain in his last MRI. Pray that his cyst is not growing.

Middletons - Pray for VBS this week. Also, Melissa's health as she enters her 3rd trimester. Pray also as they watch Melissa's nephew, Cole, this week as his parents are on vacation. Pray for their safety in travel and for Cole as he is away from them.

Bartmiers - Football season is starting up, so Nick is going to be very busy, Sarah will be managing Ava and Kaeden...pray for rest!!!

Swarengin - Joe starts his new job on Monday. Also, pray for their family that will be traveling over the next few days.

Wingards - Pray for Tim's sister, Tiffany.

Bennetts - Desiree's brother-in-law, Matt, had surgery on his ACL in June. The healing is taking a little longer than expected. Pray also, as Matt is a carpenter and he has not been able to work for the past month. So, please keep their finances in your prayers as well.

Murphys - Jennifer's sister-in-law has been in the hospital with an infection.

Hands - pray for them as they go through the remainder of this pregnancy.

Murphys - Praise! Jennifer's brother came through surgery and they think they got all the cancer.

Jones - Praise! They are the proud aunt and uncle of a healthy baby girl!
