Prayer Requests - 3.3.13

Gayduseks - Pray for Shelly's dad. He found out 5 years ago that he has MS, but has kept it from his family until this past week. Please pray for all of them and especially him as he deals with MS.

Bartmiers - Pray for Nick's parents as they are on a cruise this week, keep them safe. Also, Nick has a student, Lily, who's mom shot her husband this morning (Sunday). They had been separated but have 4 kids, pray for these kids, as they have essentially lost both of their parents.

Girls Night In - Fri., 2/22

On Friday, Feb 22nd at 6:30 PM we will be having Girls Night In at Lauren Ames' House.

Prayer Requests - 1.10.13

Mathis - Brooke's dad's cousin passed away last week from a heart attack. Please keep her family if your prayers.

Bartmiers - Please continue to pray for the Bartmiers, that the sickness will get out of their house.

Langfords - Nick, their partner in Marcos, went in for surgery yesterday to remove some melanoma cells and part of his lymph nodes. Surgery went well, and by first glance they did not look infected. Please continue to pray for him and his wife Laura during this troubling time. They have been visiting church with Craig and Michelle the last few weeks, so pray that they can learn to lean on God through this tough time.

Upcoming Events

I wanted to send everyone a list of upcoming events so you can put them on your calendar! There are a lot of fun things planned, so hopefully you will be able to make at least some of them. You will see there are some things that we like to do with kids and others that we do without just so we can fellowship more. Hopefully that won't be a burden on anyone, and if you need help finding sitters we can help you out.


Fri., Feb 22nd: Girls Night In - Girls gathering at Lauren Ames house at 6:30, bring finger foods

Sat., Mar 30th: Easter Egg Hunt 10:00 - 12:00 - Jeff Simpson's Farm - $10/family and 1 dozen eggs per kid

Sat., April 13th: Annual Scavenger Hunt - Roughley's House (no kids) - 4:00

Sat., April 20th: PNO - at the church :)

Sun., May 5th: Luncheon after church - Location TBD (we will try to chose a park somewhere or something along that line)

Fri., June 14th: Mad Pizza/Naturals Game

Thurs., July 4th: FourthFest


We will work on the last half of the year in the next couple of months, if you have ideas please feel free to share them. We are always looking for new things to do.

Prayer Requests - 2.3.13

Upward - They are still looking for volunteers to help with Upward, please reach out to Cliff or Kelly if you would like to help.

Parkers - Pray that they sell their house.

Ingrahams - Praise! Brad recovered well from his emergency appendectomy, and they sold their house.

Gilliards - Wes is out of town this week, pray for his safe travels and for Brandi and kids while he is gone

Bartmiers - Sarah's uncle is in FL for treatment and is doing good. Please continue to pray for him and his family.

Gayduseks - Shelly's grandpa passed away last week. Pray for her family during this time.

I wanted to remind everyone about our upcoming social. Below is what you signed up for, and if anyone else wants to come please do. It will be a great time. I have also attached directions to the Murphy's house in case you don't remember from the Hayride.

Leaving from the church: follow hwy 102 west to hwy 279 north. Go North approx 1 mile the turn left on Mt Olive ( just past.

the Centerton Animal Control). Go West approx 6 miles. Once you pass over Spavinaw Creek it will be the first dirt rd on your

left (there is a small red and white for sale sign at the entrance). Go South and around a corner approx 4 tenths of a mile

and we are the first house on the right. 10073 Hidden Acres Rd, Gravette.

PNO - Sat., Jan 26th

PNO will be Sat., Jan 26th from 4:30 - 8:30. Don't forget to pack your kids a dinner for that night.
